Make it feel like Christmas

The most wonderfull time of the year has arrived opon us... The magical moments before the year is slowly coming to and end. It's by far my favorite season of the year. The Christmas music, the lights, the warmth you feel inside you. Also I always like to dress around a little in the same spirits. If it is inside the house I really like to dress comfortable and just put my hair in a bun and just enjoy what is around me. Yes, even with my bunny slippers.

Life of School

Sometimes live can feel like a big learning school. For the past year I have been learning to love myself and choose the things that make me happy. Making photo's here in SecondLife is one of the things I love to do. At first I asked for advice... but later I felt like I didn't want to hear that advise. I had to look into my heart and feel what was the right thing to do. What sacrefices I had to make in order to do the things I love to do. 

It started by writing everything down in my notebooks and then puzzle it out like it was a big math assignment. But in the end it is all about just doing it and make fixes along the way as you keep learning. Like in school you didn't knew everything you learned...

So see life as school and learn to love life.

Cute in the garden

Hello Everyone, 

Here I am after a long time of silence. I needed quite some time to sort things out, party a little and find out who I am and what brings me joy. One of those realisations was that I miss making photo´s with a purpose. Setting together the items to make them shine, to tell a story and be creative without borders. I have to say that besides making those pictures, I also missed all of you lovely readers. For those coming back welcome back, for all of you new out there welcome.

After all the Easter festivities it was time to come back home. So as soon as the sun was up and I walked back to the house. Yes, we had spend the night outside. Gazing at the stars and looking for falling stars until we fell asleep in our seats. But that is another story. Back to this morning. 

So I walked onto my land and every time all of my plants will be smiling at me. But I noticed that I had a few visitors what were rumaging through my garden. I was a little suprised by this, because I never would expect all of this, but soon I had to smile at the little hedgehog who kicked over the plant pot.

 

I stood still and let them go ahead while mother goose tried to sneak out behind me. But she lost one of her little ones as he was watching the hedgehog. So when mom yelled for him I had to skip aside as he ran past me in light panic. So funny to whitness this morning. It still makes me smile when I think about it....

Autumn has finally come

The time and weather of the summer is slowly fading away. Although it was a good summer with loads of fun and the people that I've met. The heatwave was something I detested towards the end. It kept going on and on and it made me feel so lazy and other things I couldn't have. So I look forward to the more cozy weather. Snuggling into my cardigans and my sweaters. On the couch with a blanket and being serrounded by candles and coziness of my home. Drinking hot chocolate of a caramel latte and baking autumn cookies and eat them warm. So I am ready for the falling leaves and the rain to come.

Desperate

Last weekend and a bit on this week I decided to take a step back from SL. In those offline days I really thought through about who I am here on SL and who I want to be. I am a multi person. Doing everything at once. But is that the right way? That is something I am going to find out during the time I take back. But all those ghosts inside my head had a voice and they had all diffrent opinions. But they learned me what I wanted in desperate times of me breaking down. So I learn to embrace them.

A day at the beach

 Since the hot days have taken over the whole of Europe it seems the last few days. I felt like taking myself to the inworld beach. So I took a bikini and put on my flip flops and went to look for a nice beach to take some photo's on. I knew I needed to stay hydrated so I took my SlurkDis drink, which is my favorite to wear around the grid when we are playing the Bacardi Lemon song from Mart Hoogkamer. I'm not going to swim in Bacardi Lemon or in the ocean of the Miami Beach, so I put on a skirt over it to make the outfit whole. It was so much fun putting this outfit together and I want to show you the items I got!

Sometimes I feel like just some rest around me. Then I love to explore the nature sims on SecondLife. One of my favorite places to go is Calas Galadhon park. A huge park spread out over a great ammount of sims and filled with nature, tours, animals, buildings. Its so amazing. And every part has its own theme. That makes it very interesting to watch. Here and there they change up from time to time so it's deffinately great to come back and enjoy in the mids of some virtual nature. 

There are also amazing spots in this park where you can pose and take some pictures along with the amazing landscape. It inspired me to take this photo with a horse. I am wearing clothes from MOoH!. I felt them blend in with the envoironment and am happy with the result.
